More than 6,500 buyers attended fabric and accessory fair Intertextile Pavilion in Shenzhen, July 12-14, compared with 6,400 in 2006. 230 exhibitors came from seven countries and regions to participate, many targeting international companies with factories in China.

As one of China's key apparel-producing regions, Shenzhen and the Guangdong province play a major role in the textile trade in China and the event has helped to promote the local industry.

Intertextile Pavilion, held for the third time this year, runs concurrently with the Shenzhen International Brand Clothing and Accessories Fair.
