VF Corporation will no longer have to rely on a distributor to sell its Napapijri sportswear brand in Japan. The company has set up a new joint-venture operation with Mitsui to market and distribute the outdoor-inspired products in the Japanese market.

 

The companies will open new retail outlets and increase the brand's presence in department stores.
