US-based nanotechnology company NanoHorizons, Inc., and producer of footwear moisture management fabrics Faytex Corp., will officially unveil a new exclusive partnership at the upcoming Summer Outdoor Retailer show under which Faytex will now use NanoHorizon’s SmartSilver anti-microbial/anti-odour nanotechnology in its Dri-Lex shoe lining material. The company has already started working with triathlon equipment developer Zoot Sports to incorporate the material into its new footwear line.

SmartSilver is engineered at the nanoscale to impart permanent high performance anti-odour/anti-microbial properties to natural and synthetic fibres and fabrics without compromising fabric design or integrity.
