US-based producer and processor of multi-filament polyester and nylon textured yarns Unifi, Inc. has appointed two new members to its board of directors, effective August 8.

George Perkins, Jr., is chairman of the board and CEO of Frontier Spinning Mills, Inc., a company that he founded in 1996 and G. Alfred Webster is a former executive officer of the company.
