The Care Chemicals division of Cognis used the Outdoor Retail show in Salt Lake City to present the company’s new Skintex Supercool technology.

The idea consists of treating fabrics with microcapsules that make the wearer’s skin feel cooler. The capsules contain tiny amounts of natural source ingredients such as menthol and myritol, as well as emollients and synthetic coolants. Friction and heat from the body releases the contents.
