Apparel still number one for counterfeiters

French customs officials at the port of Nice have confirmed that clothes are still the main product-type they have to confiscate from counterfeiters.
Last month, the authorities at the port destroyed 15,000 imitation items they had seized. These included many pairs of shorts and sportshoes with adidas and Nike among the brands most frequently imitated.
