Wool gives sweaters natural advantage

Clothing brand Black Pearl has launched a new collection of luxury sweaters made from Icelandic wool.

Iceland is, arguably, the hardiest sheep-rearing environment in the northern hemisphere and the company says the wool it has imported from there is "outstanding for its durability and insulation".

It is breathable, wicks away moisture and is naturally resistant to wind and water.

Black Pearl's founder, Hugh Milligan, says: "We are delighted with our new range. We wanted to develop an already successful line by adding new enhancements and improvements to the garments."
