Easy guide to Oeko-Tex
07/09/2007
The Oeko-Tex Association has launched a new brochure on its Standard 100, which offers reassurance to consumers that a textile product is free from harmful substances.
The association assesses and approves companies that want to use Oeko-Tex 100 accreditation as part of the marketing efforts and the brochure aims to give interested players an easy-to-follow guide to the requirements.
The document is available from the association's offices in Munich in a 24-page printed format and is also available as a download from the Oeko-Tex website.
To begin with, it is available in German, Chinese and English only, but French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese versions are in the pipeline.
