Kit-provider to the national football team of Senegal for many years, sports equipment brand Puma has now decided to invest in club football in the African country.
Eighty teams in the top three divisions of the Senegalese league have just received 16 shirts, 16 pairs of shorts, 16 pairs of socks and 16 pairs of boots each from the German manufacturer.
The president of the Senegalese Football Federation, Mbaye Ndoye, said the partnership between his organisation and Puma was growing stronger all the time. He said this would certainly lead to further investments in equipment for teams throughout the country.
