11/09/2007
Sports, outdoor and fashion markets company Pentland has appointed Daniel Morris as managing director of Boxfresh, a streetwear brand that the group acquired in 2005.
Prior to joining Boxfresh, Mr Morris was managing director in Ireland and the UK for fashion brand Mexx.
On announcing the appointment, Andy Rubin, chief executive of Pentland, commented: "We are delighted that Daniel has joined us to lead our Boxfresh business. He brings with him a wealth of wholesale and retail experience. We are seeing good signs of growth at Boxfresh following the launch of the spring-summer 2008 collection. This brand has so much potential and Daniel will help us unlock it."
Pentland announced the promotion of Paul Spencer to the position of sales director for Boxfresh at the same time.
