Dow Fibres firms up new partnerships

Beachwear brand Maryan Mehlhorn and men’s underwear specialist 2(x)ist have each signed new partnership deals with Dow Fiber Solutions.
New York-based 2(x)ist, after a successful presentation at the New York Fashion week at the start of the month, has agreed to launch onto the wider market its Liquid Cotton collection, which uses Dow XLA stretch fibre.
Maryan Mehlhorn has also incorporated the fibre into her latest collection of swimsuits, bikinis, tankinis and monokinis. She is the first beachwear designer to use it. She has commented: “To be the first to use DOW XLA stretch fibre feels very special. When wearing swimwear, your body is more exposed than in everyday wear so it is important to have the perfect fit. This fibre actually enhances the body shape in all the right places; you get a formed body in a suit that is stylish, comfortable and durable.”
