New activewear collection designed by Venus Williams

Reigning Wimbledon winner Venus Williams has launched a new line of performance sportswear and footwear in collaboration with New York-based casual apparel clothing retailer Steve & Barry's.

This new 120-piece collection, called ‘EleVen’, will be available from November, although Ms Williams debuted some items from the collection at the recent US Open, held in New York from August 27 to September 9.

She gained knowledge about performance gear through practising her sport as well as having studied fashion design at the Art Institute of Florida. Ms Williams has also designed clothing for Wilson’s Leather, and has worn certain items from this collection on court.

The EleVen collection includes nine models of athletic footwear as well as track suits, gym bags, sports socks and bras, along with many other items.
