Microsoft and its partners are to demonstrate RFID-enabled (radio frequency identification-enabled) applications as part of a special pavilion at EPC Connection, held October 2-4 in Chicago.

"It's important for companies to understand that deploying RFID applications doesn't have to be complex and expensive," explained Anush Kumar, senior product manager, Microsoft BizTalk RFID.

Live demonstrations of the following RFID-enabled applications will be featured at the pavilion: TCS/Motorola; Xterprise; Cactus Commerce; and 3M and HighJump, among others.
