Kenneth Cole acquires Le Tigre brand

New York-based footwear, handbag and accessories company Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc. has acquired the Le Tigre trademark, logo, licenses, and other intellectual property associated with the brand for an estimated $13 million.
The company has signed a license agreement under which it will continue to manufacture and sell sportswear under the Le Tigre brand.
