IFAI reveals award winners
The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) has announced the winners of the 2007 International Achievement Awards.
The awards – now in their 60th year – recognise design, technological innovation and excellence in the specialty fabrics industry.
The competition received a record 387 entries from 14 countries and the 28 categories were judged by a panel of industry experts, editors, architects, educators and design professionals.
The awards were presented during IFAI Expo 2007, which was held from October 3-5 in Las Vegas.
Among the award winners were California-based AR Tech, which was given an award of excellence for its DRA protection pads in the Safety and Protective category, and Mexico-based Carpas Y Lonas El Carrousel SA, which was given an outstanding achievement award for its Tent Tensostructure for Playa Mia Beach Club project.
