US-based sailing hardware, accessories and clothing company Harken has introduced a new softshell vest and jacket, designed specifically for those involved in sailing.

The vest incorporates fleece insulation and a durable water shedding shell to help keep wearers warm and dry without restricting movement. It can be worn as a breathable outer or mid layer.

The softshell jacket is lightweight and stretchable, combining fleece insulation and a water resistant, breathable outer shell. It can be worn as a protective outer layer or mid layer and is said to provide comfort without bulk.
