Belgium-based EDANA is to launch the Index 08 Awards to attract innovations from businesses of all sizes and from all parts of the nonwovens supply chain at Index 08, which will take place at Geneva Palexpo from April 15-18, 2008. There are six awards in total ranging from product and process innovations to marketing excellence. There is also a brand new award which recognises a nonwovens solution or product that has provided a significant humanitarian or environmental contribution.  

Index will bring together members of the nonwovens industry including raw material producers and manufacturers, finishers and converters and environmental protection, measuring and testing equipment manufacturers. More than 13,000 visitors usually attend the event.

Index Awards Competition winners will be presented with their awards at a ceremony at Index 08.
