Hellaby sells Levana

Levana Textiles is to be sold by investment company Hellaby Holdings to Melbourne-based The Merino Company as part of a streamlining exercise. Financial details were not disclosed.

Levana Textiles makes fabrics for garment manufacturers primarily in New Zealand and Australia. The company was formed in 1985 by merging three New Zealand independent knitting, dyeing and finishing plants into one integrated textile company. Its products are used for the fashion, swimwear, activewear and underwear industries.
