US-based licensor and brand management company Cherokee Inc. has signed an international license agreement for its Cherokee brand with textile company and retailer Indian Arvind Mills Ltd.

The multi-year agreement covers clothing, footwear, accessories and home products.

Senior vice president of Cherokee, Larry Sass, said: “India, is one of the fastest growing economies in the world and provides Cherokee with tremendous growth potential. Our new agreement for India and our recently announced Cherokee license agreement for Brazil, represent major accomplishments towards our ‘World Branding’ objectives.”
