The Netherlands police force has signed a two-year agreement with German company Fuchshuber Tecno-tex GmbH to supply high performance shirts made with Coolmax Extreme Fresh FX.

The technology offers moisture management and can help prevent body odours as a result of silver ions embedded in the fibres. Coolmax fabrics dry quickly and can help to reduce skin temperature.

Other police forces using Coolmax for uniforms include Italy, Spain, the UK and Germany. A number of army troops across the globe also use the technology.
