Murata establishes Indian subsidiary

Japanese textile equipment manufacturer The Murata Machinery Ltd. has established a subsidiary in India called Murata Machinery India Pvt. Ltd.

It will start producing textile equipment from November in three locations, Coimbatore, Mumbai and Delhi.

India is to account for almost 30% of Murata’s global sales, which are set to reach $100 million this year. The business has grown 800% in the last ten years.
