Disappointing quarter at Hirsch

14/11/2007

Embroidery, screen-printing and textile laser systems and services provider Hirsch International Corp has reported a net loss of $119,000 for its third quarter compared with net income of $424,000 in the prior-year quarter.

Revenues for the quarter fell 4%, as a result of weak embroidery machine revenues. However, revenues for the first nine months were up $3.4 million.

President and CEO, Paul Gallagher: “This was a disappointing and frustrating quarter, even in light of the overall weakness in capital goods markets.”
