Colorado-based golf and active sportswear manufacturer Sport-Haley Inc has posted a decline in sales for its first quarter ended September 30.

Net sales of fashion apparel the three-month period fell 2% to $3.4 million from $3.5 million in the prior-year period. This decline was mainly the result of lower Sport Haley women's apparel and Ben Hogan men's apparel.

Net sales of Top-Flite branded apparel for quarter fell 90% to $120,000 from $1.2 million in the comparable period last year.

Net loss for the three months was $627,000, up 58% compared with net loss of $397,000.
