Canada-based yoga-inspired athletic apparel company lululemon athletica inc. has posted improved financial results for the three and nine months ended October 31.

For the quarter, net revenue increased 84% to $66.2 million from $36 million in the prior-year period. Income from operations was $11.8 million compared with $4.7 million.

For the nine-month period, net revenue increased 75% to $169.6 million from $96.7 million in the first nine months of 2006. Income was $28.4 million compared with $14 million, or 14.5% of net revenue.
