Argo Workwear targets hotel staff
Indonesia-based Argo Workwear has introduced a new range of high specification fabrics for the restaurant and hotel market.
The line includes men’s and women’s shirts made from 65/35 poly/cotton in 130/145/150 and 180gsm weights, which are suitable for front of house staff and for catering staff. It also offers Argo Stretch with Dow XLA, a 130gsm fabric, which provides soft stretch and recovery. The fabric is resistant to high temperatures and harsh chemicals used in washing.
The company’s kitchen wear fabrics include colour woven 65/35 poly/cotton stripes and checks, cotton rich 50/50 cotton/poly fabrics in Argo CR 195/245 and 315gsm and classic 65/35 poly/cotton with 2/1 and 3/1 twills and plain styles Argo PC 210/245/300 gsm weights.
For front of house staff, fabrics include Stretch with Dow XLA plus poly/cotton and cotton rich twill and plain surface effects ranging from 190–300 gsm in weight.
Furthermore, the collection includes Argo Bioactive poly/cotton incorporating Trevira silver technology woven into the fabric for permanent bioactive protection.  Argo Bioactive fabrics are said to be durable, low pill, quick drying and kind to the skin.
