Outerwear and sportswear retailer G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. has posted improved results for the three and nine month periods ended October 31.

For the three-month period, net sales increased by 10.8% to $271.2 million compared with $244.7 million in the prior-year period. Net income totalled $23.8 million compared with $23.3 million.

For the nine-month period, net sales rose 18.9% to $390.2 million from $328.2 million in the corresponding period last year. Net income reached $16.4 million compared with $12.7 million for the same period last year.

The company continues to expect net sales of approximately $510 million for the full year.
