Weird Fish hooks up with Syscom
UK-based branded lifestyle apparel supplier Weird Fish has decided to implement Microsoft Dynamics AX across its business divisions in order to help synchronise tasks more effectively.
It currently uses the software at its Bath and Cheltenham stores but will now introduce it at the three new stores that have recently opened to help improve efficiency and automation of tasks.
Microsoft Gold partner Syscom PLC is to help implement Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management as the company specifically provides software and IT solutions to the clothing, footwear and textile markets.
Financial controller, Jon Goodwin, said: “We were manually writing out orders with only invoices being generated on a computer system.
“Microsoft Dynamics AX will give us integration across all departments reducing duplication of efforts throughout the business.”
The company has its own in-house design team and outsources its production to Turkey and the Far East. It also runs internet and mail order sales campaigns.
