SAS sues NZ rugby league

According to reports, Auckland-based sportswear company SAS Sports is suing the New Zealand Rugby League (NZRL) for breach of contract. The kit supplying firm believed its contract with the national body was to end after the next Rugby World Cup but has since discovered that another company has been offered a deal worth more than $1 million. The case begins on December 15 and could be worth $3 million in lost earnings for SAS.
