TTSNA features 65 presentations

New technology and market trends for the technical textiles industry are to be presented at Techtextil-Symposium North America (TTSNA) from April 1-3 in Atlanta, Georgia.

More than 65 presentations will be given at the symposium, covering nonwovens, nanotechnology and composites for a variety of applications. It runs concurrently with the fifth edition of technical textiles and nonwovens fair.

Keynote speaker, Glen Raven Inc.'s president and CEO, Allen Gant, will be joined by other experts including Dr Martin Jacobs, director of the National Textile Center (NTC), Dr Behnam Pourdeyhimi of the Nonwovens Cooperative Research Center at the Nonwovens Institute of NCSU and Professor Karl Jacob of the Georgia Institute for technology's school of polymer, textile and fibre engineering will chair the nanotechnology session, among others.

Session topics will include research and development, doing business in China, technical knits, extreme fibres, body armour for law enforcement protection and enhancing value by finishing.
