Woolmark presents at Japan Creation

The Woolmark Company (TWC) gave an informative presentation about merino wool at recent textile trade show JFW Japan Creation, held December 5-7 in Tokyo.

The talk included a 200-year history of the Australian wool industry, an overview of seasonal merino colour trends and an overview of the ‘green’ properties of merino.

The presentation also gave details of the merger between Woolmark and Australian Wool Innovation. The Woolmark brands are to be relaunch next year.

High-quality textiles, new technology and creative techniques were showcased by many exhibitors at the event, which focused on the autumn/winter 2008 season.
