New protective line at Easton Hockey

Baseball, softball, hockey and cycling equipment manufacturer Easton Hockey has introduced a new Stealth 17 protective line for 2008 including gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, shin guards and trousers. The line will be available from March.

The new glove has a triple segmented index finger and flex thumb to offer wearers freedom of motion and increased flexibility. It also features Bio-Dri, a high-tech liner system designed to reduce moisture.

The shoulder pads offer Spine Tec technology reinforced with high density foams and plastic inserts, which add protection in high-impact areas. The shin guards use the company’s Dry Flow liner, which combines a Bio-Dri knee ring with a moulded Dry Flow to provide added comfort.

The new trousers offer freedom of movement as well as protection. A split shell design, which features the company’s textured nylon plus ventilated mesh, is said to provide maximum comfort while Vent Air technology in the upper thigh area helps to keep players drier on the ice.
