The Tour Stretch SL jacket from Dunning Golf has been named 2007 Canadian Product of the Year at the seventh annual ScoreGolf Business and Equipment Awards.

The company was also nominated for Canadian company of the year, while company founder and chief designer Ralph Dunning received a nomination for Canadian executive of the year.

ScoreGolf business and equipment columnist, Rick Young, said: “For functionality, style and fit, the Tour Stretch SL jacket is a breakthrough in foul weather or any weather playability.”

Created in conjunction with an experienced PGA Tour staff including Zach Johnson, John Senden and Kyle Thompson the company’s collection for spring 2008 features classic designs and sharp, clean athletic pieces using bright, traditional and muted colours. The range includes the Interface Pique Winston Polo and Merino Wool Technical Pullover as well as polo shirts, trousers, shorts, compression undergarments, thermal tops and outerwear. Its clothing uses proprietary fabric technologies to offer increased airflow, moisture wicking, breathability and UV protection that lasts for the life of a garment.
