First ever IFAI Advanced Textiles event
The Industrial Fabrics Association International is to hold its first international symposium, IFAI Advanced Textiles 2008, in Berlin from June 12-13, 2008. The symposium will focus on market-ready innovations for US and European companies.
The symposium will present new fabric developments and applications for the technical textiles industry. Topics will include functional garments for lifestyle, active sports or professional use; healthcare and medical applications; architectural use and construction; and the application of advanced materials in the automotive and geotextiles sector.
IFAI president, Stephen Warner, said: “Our mission is to provide IFAI members and their business partners with the resources they need to stay ahead of competition, and we are going to supply them with the appropriate tools for today and tomorrow’s borderless networking. The Advanced Textiles conference in Berlin is a key part of this objective.”
