US-based sports footwear designer K-Swiss has signed an endorsement deal with German tennis player Tommy Haas. Mr Haas has more than 11 career ATP titles with a career high ranking of number two in the world. He has been at the top of the ATP rankings for more than a decade and is one of the top players on the tour.

Mr Haas will appear in the spring 2008 advertising campaign for the brand, shot in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He will wear the brand’s performance tennis and lifestyle apparel and footwear for the campaign, which will be viewable in February.

Director of sports marketing, Erik Vervloet, said: "Tommy will be an invaluable asset in showcasing our current product offerings and developing future styles.”
