Calvin Klein, Inc., owned by Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation, has signed a licensing agreement with outerwear and sportswear manufacturer G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. for a new line of women's performance apparel.

Branded as Calvin Klein Performance, the range will incorporate athletic and performance wear to enhance women's sports and activities, including yoga, running, tennis, and cycling. Items will include trousers, capri pants, shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, hooded jackets and tennis skirts and dresses.

G-III will manufacture and distribute the line in the United States, Canada and Mexico. It is expected to be given a 'soft' launch for the spring 2008 season, with a complete roll-out by autumn.
