Hi-Tec relaunches 1980s styles

UK-based sports footwear brand Hi-Tec has teamed up with fashion retailer River Island to re-launch the renowned 1980’s style ‘Hi-Tops’ shoes. Available from March, the two styles will be sold in selected River Island stores.

The shoes – which were originally developed in 1982 – have been reintroduced in response to increased demand for authentic retro classics. The two styles on offer have been resurrected directly from the Hi-Tec product archives.

Hi-Tec currently employs approximately 500 employees and generates global sales of more than US $250 million.
