Ho Yu performs bluesign screening
Taiwan-based apparel and technical fabrics manufacturer Ho Yu Textile Co., Ltd. has undergone a bluesign screening. The screening includes a detailed on-site evaluation of the environment, resource and workplace situation of textile manufacturing sites according to the five principles of the bluesign standard including resource productivity, consumer safety, air emission, water emission and occupational health and safety.
Vice president of bluesign, Detlef Fischer, says: “Ho Yu Textile joins a circle of exclusive textile producers, who are looking forward to reducing their environmental footprint.”
Ho Yu Textile was founded in 1964 and produces acetate/acetate blends, high tenacity nylon/polyester, nylon/nylon blends, polyester/polyester blends, viscose/viscose blends, stretch and other fabrics. It also focuses on coatings, moisture management, UV protection, anti-bacterial and anti-static finished goods.
