Sugoi renews La Sportiva deal
Vancouver-based sports apparel company Sugoi has renewed its apparel sponsorship agreement with performance mountain footwear company La Sportiva for 2008.
Since the beginning of 2007, Sugoi has provided the team with custom apparel including technical t-shirts, singlets and jackets. It also provides tights, shorts, long-sleeve technical tops, hats, socks and running bras.
Trail runner and manager of La Sportiva, Buzz Burrell, says: “Sugoi’s running apparel is absolutely top of the line. The range of products is wide, which is appealing since we compete in such varied conditions. Add in their reputation for fit, function and design and it should result in continued personal bests for our runners.”
The two companies are also joining forces in sponsoring more than 22 events across North America including the entire Vail Trail Series, a six-event series in Vail, Colorado; the La Sportiva New England Mountain Circuit, a six-event series in the New England states; and the Canadian Trail Championships in North Vancouver.
