New Thermoºcool brand from AdvanSA
Netherlands-based manufacturer of polyester resins, intermediates, filament and fibres AdvanSA has launched a new natural thermoregulation brand, ThermoºCool.
The new yarns contain a unique fibre mix which allows garments to adapt to the wearer’s needs. When the user is hot and perspiring, the fabric will provide evaporative cooling, keeping the wearer cool and comfortable. Meanwhile, when the wearer is cold and shivering, the fabric will reduce the exposure impact with external temperatures, keeping the wearer warm and thermo regulated. A natural version made using polymer from renewable resources is available.
The new product will be introduced at ispo in Munich, which will take place January 27-30.
Branded apparel segment manager, Jordi López, says: “It’s an evolution. It will mean for the new century sports clothing industry what Coolmax and Thermolite were for the 20th century sports clothing industry: A complete and revolutionary, cultural and conceptual change.”
