The Outdoor Industry Association held its annual awards ceremony on January 23 at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Salt Lake City. The 2008 Business Innovator Award went to lifestyle apparel brand Horny Toad for its online Dealer Toolbox. It marks the company’s first award nomination and win.

Designed to improve buyer experience, the tool makes the order process simpler and clearer.

Other finalists included outdoor brands such as Timberland, High Sierra Sport and Half Moon Outfitters.

Based in Santa Barbara, Horny Toad is a clothing company that is focused on community, sustainability, and looking for new ways to accomplish traditional business goals.
