New creora trends unveiled at ispo

Elastane brand Creora, produced by Korean manufacturer Hyosung Corporation, has introduced four new directions for active and sportswear at ispo, currently being held in Munich.

The first, Intelligent Action, features bamboo charcoal alongside recycled polyester and nylon. Fabrics incorporate creora performance H-350 and creora black H-100D as well as Hyosung’s aerowarm, aerocool and askin polyesters with creora. Applications include walking, running, competitive cycling, climbing and mountaineering.

The Impact trend is designed to encourage freedom of movement, comfort and protection. Elastane/spandex fibres are used alongside lightweight, high performing and protective fibres. Mipan robic high tenacity yarn offers anti-abrasive protection in fabrics for extreme sports, cycling, snowboarding, mountain climbing and skiing.

The Comfort Zone direction features blends of creora eco with sustainable fibres such as bamboo, soya, wood and milk. End uses include spa and yogawear and soft activewear.

Energy Preserve helps to facilitate energy conservation and to keep the wearer during cool during high-impact activity. Shots of colour, metallic, high lustre yarns and new textural trends set the direction apart. Mipan magic silver is used for added antimicrobial benefits and Hyosung’s aerosilver with creora H-350 offers moisture wicking and anti-microbial effects. Applications include active sportswear, running aerobic and gym cardiovascular activities, seamless activewear and sports bras.
