Significant job losses as Eddie Bauer restructures

Outdoor lifestyle brand Eddie Bauer Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiary Eddie Bauer, Inc. is to reorganise its staff structure, leading to the elimination of 123 posts in Seattle, Chicago and Columbus. This represents approximately 16% of corporate staff.

Meanwhile, the company has added two executives to its management team. Tony Krohn joins from The North Face as divisional vice president of research, design, and development for outerwear, activewear and gear, while Joe Moji will be divisional vice president of financial planning and analysis.

Established in Seattle in 1920, Eddie sells quality casual sportswear and accessories for the 'modern outdoor lifestyle'. Its products are available at approximately 370 stores across the US and Canada.
