Staff changes at The Wet Seal

California-based young women’s clothing retailer The Wet Seal, Inc. has revealed that president of Merchandise, Arden B, Greg Gemette, has resigned with immediate effect.
The company has appointed Sharon Hughes chief merchandise officer for Arden B. Ms Hughes worked for the firm from 1990 to 2002, when she was involved with the formation of the Arden B concept. She held various posts, the most recent of which was senior vice president of merchandising.
As of February 2, the group operated 494 stores including 399 Wet Seal stores and 95 Arden B outlets.
