A new president has been appointed at VF Corporation subsidiary lucy activewear inc, based in Portland, Oregon. Michelle Lantow, who has served as interim president of the women's activewear brand since November 2007 will now take on the role permanently, with immediate effect. She will report to president of VF's contemporary brands coalition, Mike Egeck.

Ms Lantow has more than 24 years finance and operations experience. She joined the firm in 2000 as chief financial officer, prior to which she held various posts over 13 years at Gap Inc. including vice president of finance, vice president of investor relations and corporate controller.
