New VP at Anne Klein New York

US-based designer, marketer and wholesaler of branded apparel, footwear and accessories Jones Apparel Group, Inc. has appointed Ted Kim to the newly created position of vice president design, Anne Klein New York, effective February 18. Mr Kim will oversee the design functions for Anne Klein New York sportswear and will report to Susie Rieland, chief merchandising officer, bridge and better sportswear. His first collection will be for spring 2009.
Mr Kim most recently served as senior designer for the Michael Kors Collection, prior to which he worked at Donna Karan Signature and MaxMara Sportmax.
