UK weavers present Merino goods at PV

20/02/2008
The British Wool Textile Export Corporation (BWTEC) is to showcase M200 partners’ fabrics at Première Vision (held in Paris from February 19–22) and JITAC (held in Tokyo from March 25-27) in association with Australian Wool Innovation (AWI).

A British information stand at both shows will identify the Merino partners and show the impact Australian Merino wool has had on the global apparel industry over the past two centuries.

UK weavers attending Première Vision include Moxon, Taylor and Lodge, Abraham Moon & Sons, Fox Brothers & Co and Clissold Group. Wool is fast becoming an essential part of many designers’ fabric collections and visitors can expect to see English worsted suitings in light weight wool and spring/summer blends with linens and silks.

Moxon will showcase its latest luxury fabrics containing rare fibres and fine micron merino wool, while Taylor & Lodge will have fine suitings, jacketings and dish-dasha from Super 100s to Super 200s quality merino wool with mohair, silk, Cashmere, linen and Escorial qualities.
