According to reports, Diadora America Inc. and Diadora SpA filed a lawsuit against Skechers USA Inc. for alleged trademark infringement on February 12.

The Treviso-based sporting goods firm has reportedly claimed that Skechers' Luger-Strafe shoes deliberately infringe its Diadora logo. The company claims the California-based lifestyle footwear brand used the logo to "mislead and confuse consumers".

Diadora has appealed to the federal court in Seattle to impose an injunction on Skechers, to recall and destroy all the allegedly infringing items, and to award financial damages.
