Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese pavilions at Interstoff Asia

Three special pavilions – 'Premium Korea', 'JFW – Japan Creation' and 'Amazing Taiwan' – will appear at Interstoff Asia Essential from March 12-14. Approximately 200 garment, fabric and accessory exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the UK will participate at the fair. 

'JFW – Japan Creation' is a high-end fashion textiles event held twice a year in Tokyo. Its appearance at Interstoff will mark Japan Creation's first outside Japan, and will feature around 20 companies at the event. Exhibitors will showcase fashion fabrics for the spring/summer 2009 period and eco-textiles under the heading 'Eco Muse'.

The Korean pavilion will feature around 45 companies including nine silk manufacturers from Jinju City. Meanwhile, the Taiwanese pavilion will comprise around 35 companies presenting fashion and functional fabrics. Representative companies from the Taiwan Export Processing Zone Garment Industry Association, the Taiwan Knitting Industry Association, the Taiwan Textile Printing Dyeing and Finishing Industry Association and the Taiwan Weaving Industry Association will participate. 

The event will also include 14 seminars with speakers from Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Switzerland and the UK. Topics will cover design and trends, business strategy and technology, with a special focus on eco-textiles and functional fabrics.
