Earnings fall at K•Swiss

Athletic footwear designer K•Swiss Inc. has posted reduced revenues and earnings for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31.
Net earnings for the fourth quarter were $596,000 compared with $10.7 million in the prior-year period while, for the year, net earnings totalled $39.1 million compared with $76.9 million in 2006.
Global revenues for the fourth quarter were $78.2 million compared with $93.8 million in the prior-year period. Domestic revenues fell 34.6% to $34.3 million, while international revenues increased 6.1% to $43.9 million. Global revenues for 2007 were $410.4 million compared with $501.1 million in 2006. Domestic revenues decreased 36.5% to $202.4 million, while international revenues increased 14% to $208.1 million.Share this story:
