Fire breaks out at Arvind warehouse

Arvind Mills Ltd has confirmed that a fire broke out in the finished goods warehouse of joint venture company VF Arvind Brands Pvt Ltd, which is majority-owned by VF Coporation.

The cause of the fire is, as yet, unknown and is being investigated. The extent of the damage has not been disclosed, but the company has made it clear that no one was injured in the fire and that all goods were fully insured.

Bangalore-based VF Arvind Brands Pvt Ltd was established in 2006 to allow Arvind to distribute VF goods, including the Lee, Wrangler, Nautica, JanSport and Kipling brands across India.
